Review for game: Art of Murder: Deadly Secrets
New York City has been hit with a series of murders and the body count is piling up. For FBI Agent Nicole Bonnet, finding a lead is becoming impossible, as it seems the victims are all antiquarians and collectors and have no connection with one another. Stop the killer before another person winds up dead in Art of Murder: Deadly Secrets! Warning: Art of Murder: Deadly Secrets contains some graphic content.

I know there is a ton of reading with this game but if you can get past that (just skip it if you don't care about the story) there are a ton of really well done hidden object scenes and fun mini games. Each hidden object scene has a clock, which is more of a pocket watch, that you can click on to earn an extra hint. This is a murder investigation conducted by Nichole Bonnet an FBI agent that has been investigating the murders of several antique shop owners. There are inventory items that you will find in the HOS such as a key to the desk drawer and once open you have to find several pieces of paper that have the safes combination written down and then torn up. You put the pieces of paper back together by clicking to pick up the pieces and then right clicking to rotate. You then use this combination to open the safe for more clues as to what the killer is after. I was bothered by the reading at first, just like the other reviewers, but then I really started to get into the story and it was quite interesting. Try giving this game a chance, you can always click to speed up the conversation to get to the hidden object games, enjoy!
Far too much dialogue. No chance of skipping mini games. I found this game quite dull with nothing to challenge.
I really hope that they dont keep this style of game, as AOM lover its really sad to see this happen, there is absolutely no challenge in this game in general any AOM lover will be strongly disappointed.. even tho there is nothing wrong with the graphics and sound its just sad to see this series drop so low
I gave this a one star because there was no zero slot. I great series gone down the tubes. Just another boring HOG. I guess they never heard the phrase "don't fool with success" I have rule that I never comment on a game unless I finish it. But this was so bad.... This is a complete waste of time and money.
no hints no minigame instructions no fun at all most of all no option to skip mini games
This is a classic hidden object game. I was expected to be as other from series. Big disappointment...
Some of the hidden object scenes are so dark that you can't see any objects, even with all the lights out.
Usual Detective story hunting for a murderer and for the reasons for the murder. Loads of HO scenes choosing from a mass of useless items. A cursor break-up if clicking too much. Loads of written dialogue. All in all a very ?run of the mill? game, nothing interesting. Maybe it gets better but I don?t know as I quit the demo. Would have suggested 2 stars but for all the HOs.
