For me if a TM game doesn't match the likes of "Chocolatier" or "Top Chef" I find it boring. This one is terrific! You can replay it as many times as you like and use a different strategy. If you want a grown up game that challenges you this is it.
This game is one of the best games I've ever played! I recommend the maker to make a create a mall 2! (:
It was lots of fun. Could be more challenging.
I loved this game. The graphics could have been better but as far as time management its one of the best game I've ever played, can't wait for a part two.
i like this game wish they had more like it it is very fun

When I originally read the description of this game, I thought I would get to design a mall layout, choose stores to put in, and decide what merchandise I would sell. This game is not nearly that detailed. That said, I did have fun with the game. It's a lot like Build-a-lot. In this game, instead of building a neighborhood with homes, you're filling a mall with stores. You start out with a mall front, and basically choose what stores you want to put in each slot, and then you're able to upgrade those shops. You get rent money from each store you add, and you can spend that money on more workers, building resources, and other stores and upgrades. I like Build-a-lot and this game, but it's not for everyone. Unlike Build-a-lot, there is no time limit to the level, so it's impossible to lose; however, it does have an expert goal that you can meet to earn medals and trophies. When you build up enough points you are also able to buy things from your stores to put in your character's office. If you liked Build-a-lot, you will probably like this game. If you're not sure, try the demo. I thought it was fun, but I don't believe I will be buying the game simply because of it's length- I was able to get through half the game with just the demo, and I'm not sure how often I'll replay it.
You go from town to town creating malls for people; after you figure out how to make money it isn't even a challenge to plug stores in slots, just be sure you don't have too many of any one. Also it is too short, without an expert level. I played through it a couple times, and after i figured out the trick it became a dead bore. That being said, if you want a game that's a relaxing way to spend a couple hours, this might be the game for you.
