I have been waiting FOREVER for a game like this.

From what I could tell in the demo, it isnt really a Hidden Object game but does have the aspect of collecting items to use other places. It has REAL ACTORS, VOICE OVERS, Very nice graphics and sound effects. It kind of reminds me of 7th Guest, 11th Hour Faust games I LOVED from the 90's. The main villain kind of reminded me of Faust a little bit from those games. It has plenty of creepy factors, so if you like sudden frights from time to time this is a MUST have. I just finished the demo and have 4 credits, gone to use 2 of them now on this. Check your box (looks like a toolbox) at the bottom right of the screen from time to time when you get medals and movie reels. You need to watch the reels because they are important to the story, from what I can tell.

This is very good

Yes, on Mother's Day I treated myself to this wonderful game. It reminds me of Mystery trackers, with real actors, pretty good storyline, but somewhat grainy graphics. It is kind of easy to keep track of things and inventory items, and having only played about 2 hours into the game I have not seen a HOS, which I kind of miss. There is a little trunk that constantly plays mini scenes on the bottom, from the war, and you have to find film reels which you can play there too. Also you need to collect medals, which also go in the trunk. I like this game a lot, it just flows and you don't have to go nuts over trying to figure out what to do next. I also like the ghost scenes, which can sneak up on you here and there and give you a few grey hairs, but there is a bottle for that..... I spent my 2 credits on this one and no regrets Keep it up BFG, very nice

What A Rush

Wow this game is just awesome. This is something totally new for this developer and man did they ever deliver. It looks like a hidden object plays like a hidden object but it's not it's pure adventure no search scenes. You do however have to find stuff but not like usual no list this time. The graphics are really good the sound is good the game has that nice creepy feel to it that makes you wonder what's lurking around the corner. It is a deserted town and your passing through for gas and snacks and the little girl with you goes in the store to buy some snacks and never comes back and so it begins you have to find her but not only that you have to uncover the deep dark secrets of this town. There are real actors in this one and several different locations and lots to do with this one and the puzzles are really cool and the bonus content is really good it's full of goodies. It has everything you would expect from ERS all the fun and all the creepiness you want. I bought it right away and I think it's going to be a really long game and a total blast from start to finish. The graphics aren't the bright and colorful gorgeous eye popping graphics instead they are a little dark which fits perfect for this game and the time period the game is set in although they aren't the gorgeous eye popping graphics they are still awesome and just fit this game so well. I'm so glad I purchased this one it's one I wasn't dare going to let slide by. Give the demo a try it's worth that. Thank you ERS and Big Fish for this awesome new series.

Another great game from ERS !!!

I love all of the games from this developer but this one is very special. I love that it has no hidden object scenes to waste time finding needed objects. playing this game requires logic and attention to detail to get the most out of it. the real people to interact with is a great touch. It grabs my interest and the film scenes from WW II really make me think about what the story is behind what is happening. We are very methodically being drawn into a mystery from long ago. I am still playing and I cannot wait to see what the real answer is to the the murders of this whole family. For now I will keep quessing and playing to see if I can figure it out. This is a great game.

May I please have some more

I LOVED this game. The graphics are very well done, not spectacular but very pleasant. It's dark and gloomy so right up my alley! There is not a single HOG, so this is an adventure where you collect things and solve puzzles, a really nice change that I would like to see in more games. Well done ERS, worth every penny

BULLSEYE!!!

This is a great game! I love the fact that it has objects to find, but not plastered with HOS's. The story line is great and the real actors are a nice touch. It's the perfect combination of hidden objects, mini games and an adventure game. Wonderful job by the developers...keep them coming!!

Didn't want this game to end!

This is the first game I've played where there are absolutely no hidden object scenes, and I didn't miss them too much as the story was so engaging and there was so much to see. Although I do like HOGs, sometimes looking for the oil can, the hammer, the pen, the glasses, the binoculars etc. etc. can get a little repetitive, so this was something different. This game has live action characters in the cutscenes, and - shock horror! - for the most part the dialogue actually matches the actors' lip movements. I absolutely loved wandering around, every new room/area found was a joy to explore. Sparkles indicated that there was something to look at, either an item to be picked up, or a diary page to see, or a puzzle to solve. Many of the puzzles were of the "move things into the right slot" variety, which I'm not always terribly good at, so sometimes I took a sneaky look at the built-in Strategy Guide, which was helpful. Some of the puzzles were quite simple, others took a little more thought. The setting for the game is a ramshackle old hotel, with ramshackle streets and ramshackle rooms, but that's right up my street so I loved it. There were a good few skeletons, some animated, quite literally "hanging around" too. If I only had some minor gripes it would be these: #1# Given the nature of the story, I thought the music was, how can I put it, a little too "perky"? I think there would have been a far better atmosphere to the game if the music had been spookier. #2# The bonus content was really pretty short and didn't take long to complete at all. I don't go in for downloading the music, or having screensavers, or seeing the concept art, but that's just me - I have no use for things like that. The only reason I like CEs is because of the in-built strategy guide, to be honest. #3# I didn't really see the point of the film reels - OK, you saw real footage from the war, and later on some obviously staged footage added in, but there wasn't much explanation as to what that was abou

different kind of game

I love my HoGs, FrOgs, etc and I found this one to be different, fast paced. yes, you had to look for items, you did not end up with a full tray of items to place, most item's were quickly placed..Story to me is just that, a story, I listen to music..and enjoy my time playing..;-)

FINALLY!!

I beta tested this game awhile back and could not wait for it to be offered. It's absolutely one of the best ERS games they have ever came out with. Love the story line...it's a super well made game and I didn't even trial it I just bought it!!! Enjoy fishes it's a great one....thanks BF you made my day!

ers so I got it

ERS games are great so I played for 30 min and got it for free. I would have bought it also. Great graphics and the sound is good. I love adventure games so this is up my alley. DO not care if there is no HOS. Looks like a good game to play. Try it.
