Loving this game!! Match 3 plus Hidden Object/Inventory

So much fun! I love it. You have to play Match 3 games to get necessary inventory items to continue with your investigation!!!! I am so loving this! Thank you. I am a fan of both Hidden Object and Match 3 so this is a game for me. It took me a little bit to figure out why I was playing Match 3 lol. I am playing in relaxed mode so there is no rush. That is an option. Lovely graphics. Lovely music. Hint is not much of a help. Pretty much on your on there. Lots of Match 3's to play to get inventory items. So you pretty much have to like to play that!

Speechless, I am

I "wasted" my demo time just listening to the Carmen aria! Then there was Gluck's Orpheus/Eurydice, Gounod's Faust, and apparently six more to go! All in a brilliant HOG/Match3 game that eventually cost pennies. Wow, high marks for music quality and brilliant game design. Downside: er, not always crystal clear on what to do next, but eventually it comes around.

This is an awesome game!

After reading some reviews, we thought this game would not be a winner, but found it was a fantastic game, complete with a mystery to solve, match 3 games, hidden object scenes, plus items to collect to continue with the adventure! You can play timed or untimed. There are volume controls and choice for wide screen. You can get the rules and what all the bonus items are used for by clicking on the question mark in the top left of the screen. On the next screen there are tabs that say adventure or match 3. There you wil find the explanations for most items. The "hot chocolate" pot in the bottom right corner when on the match 3 screen is used to get 10 times the points when playing. When a cocoa bean shows up when making a 5 or more match, click on the bean and the pot will begin to fill. When the pot is full, you can click on it activate the extra points bonus. The hidden object scenes are interactive and the mini games are quite fun. When playing the match 3 segments, you can "win" albums and go to the record room to play this wonderful music! You win money to use at the store to buy more power ups for playing the match 3 sections. You can buy the ones that are most helpful. There was a bit of a time delay in scene changes, but the game is so much fun that it didn't matter. Definitely a purchase for us!

Cocktail of the M3 and the HOG

This game is very unusual genre. It combines well-M3 and HOG. Good quality video and sound effects. Understandable story line that captures from the beginning of the game. M3 is a very interesting and contains a large number of effects and bonuses. This allows to pass difficult levels. I played in Relax Mode, because I don't like to play for a while. I really liked this game. I advise everyone to play!

A mystery within a mystery?

Based on demo only: Well, the game is definitely mixed genre. There is absolutely no hand holding other than information screens indicating what the controls and icons mean in both adventure and match 3 so you will have to 'solve' how to get around as well as the actual mystery within the game until a walkthrough comes out. The graphics were very lovely and the music was appropriate for a mystery and pleasant for the M3, being very soft and meditative. The M3 had two challenge modes, relaxed or timed. Overall, this is a very different and interesting little game and a definite buy for me. I generally don't even enjoy M3 games, yet the whole mix was a great balance so I ended up actually enjoying the M3 as well as the adventure. I probably would only give it a 4 or 4.5 star review, yet since I haven't actually finished it, I'm giving it the benefit of a doubt. Definitely worth at least giving it a whirl. :)

LOVE THE MUSIC!

I have really enjoyed playing this game. It starts out as a HOPA, with a murder in the opera house, and goes to match 3. Nothing is really difficult, although the M3 is progressively harder. The best part of this game is the music, I could listen to Carmen forever. We also have some Mozart and Tchaikovsky and the sound is good quality. You do have to read the instructions to understand the power-ups for M3,and apparently some are used during a bonus round. Over-all a good game if you like classical music, the graphics and scenery are good, puzzles are not difficult and the music is wonderful.

WTG Developers!

Love, Love, Love the HOS, M3 and Mini-Games all wrapped into one nice package. Graphics are wonderful. In the one hour demo, I came across 2 HOS and several M3 opportunities. Accessing different music of your choice throughout the game is brilliant. Of course, you have to earn them LOL. After saying agreeing to the tutorial, (which came across to me as being strongly suggested), I had NO problem understanding what this game expects of me. Very well done. Many thanks to the developers and BFG!

Great Mix Of Both HO and Match3

Loved this game. It is a fun game after you figure out what all the things at the store do. I found this game to be very relaxing and it took my mind off the everyday riffraff.

Something Different

I feel that this combines 2 styles of games very nicely. Match 3 and HO. It is something different. Been playing the untimed version and it's a relaxing game. I bought it.

Get to know it, have fun!

At first I didn't know if I would like this game. It was a challenge being on the timer but as I got to know the game and how to play it, not being on the timer was so boring! I love this game and played it three times so far. I got good enough that I began to notice there were many of the games I didn't need the tools to win. After I bought them I just hung on to them and if I needed help toward the end of a game then I would use them. I sure hope they make another. The only thing I didn't like was the Christmas bell sound in some of the music...drove me nuts! The music was great throughout mostly and I did love listening to the opera albums...very cool!
